Focused on retail analytics in the Midwest

About Me

I'm a junior at the University of Iowa pursuing a B.B.A. in Business Analytics and Information Systems, graduating in May 2027. I'm on the Dean's List (Fall 2023, Spring 2024) and a member of the Honors Program, with a 3.23 GPA.

My focus is on data analytics applied to retail — I want to help companies make better merchandising, operations, and customer decisions by turning raw data into clear, actionable insights. I'm comfortable working across the full analysis workflow: cleaning and querying data in SQL, analyzing it in Python and Excel, and communicating findings through Power BI dashboards.

Outside the classroom, I'm active in the National Retail Federation Student Association at Iowa, where I've participated in professional development trips and case competitions. Before college, I was a three-year varsity soccer goalkeeper and team captain — experiences that sharpened my ability to make quick decisions and lead under pressure.

Titanic Data Analysis

Analyzed the Titanic passenger dataset to identify survival patterns across passenger class, age, and gender. Used SQL to query and filter the dataset, then built summary tables and charts in Excel to communicate key findings. This project reinforced how structured data can answer real questions about human behavior and decision-making.

Retail Strategy

Target Merchandising Case Competition

Competed in a retail merchandising case competition focused on Target's product assortment and floor strategy. Developed recommendations for improving category performance using market research and sales data, then presented findings to a panel of judges. Strengthened my ability to apply analytical thinking to real-world retail business problems.

Customer Transactions & Operations

As a Customer Service Representative Apprentice at Port Washington State Bank (June 2022–Present), I process daily transactions — deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and currency exchanges — with a strong focus on accuracy. I manage cash drawers, balance end-of-day reporting, and help maintain compliance with banking regulations. This role built my precision with financial data and my ability to work in high-accountability environments.
